Father Paul A. Patitsas has been an ordained Greek Orthodox Clergyman since 22 July, 1990. He and his wife Presvytera Katerina have three adult children. Nicholia (Gregory) Patellis, Sister Philothei (Ypseni Monastery, Rhodos, Greece), and Georgios Patitsas. They and their son-in-law Gregory Patellis are a source of constant joy in their lives. Father has served the majority of his priestly ministry in the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America and 9 ½ years as a Missionary in Oceania, and area which includes New Zealand where they were stationed, Fiji, Tonga and Samoa. Father has no hobbies except perhaps reading and an occasional horseback ride. Presvytera is a gifted poet and also a writer. Her main hobby presently is making mosaics.
Father Paul and Presvytera both grew up in Ohio and love the outdoors. They met at Hellenic College/Holy Cross in 1984, and then met again after Seminary in 1988 and were wed in 1989.
Father Paul loves iconography, the lives of saints, and Orthodox Theology. He also enjoys preaching and liturgizing. He likes people and looks forward to getting to know you all.
